What's soon to be Belize's largest hotel, this sophisticated resort graces a stunning 1.6 acres white-sand beach and turquoise-blue Caribbean waters on Belize’s Ambergris Caye. Just a stroll from the heart of San Pedro town, the Residences strike the perfect balance between a private resort community and a familiar small-town connection.
The old-world colonial-style design echoes the country’s rich British heritage, featuring local Belizean hardwoods throughout and San Pedrano family heirlooms in the main lobby space.
Current design has it slated to be a 200+ room, 213,000 sf hotel with several high end amenities such as pier and palapa, restaurants, casino, gym, day care center, several boutique store fronts and exotic pools.
My role as the CM has been to lead the team of designers through the design and planning stages while meeting the needs and wants of the developer and also the Hotel chain. Conduct weekly Owner meetings and weekly Design team meetings while also working with the local municipality in plan review and submission to obtain permits. Also creating RFP's for bid for local and national contractors for budgeting purposes to assure we are in line with the overall estimate. As the CM I have been a part of creating the overall design and construction schedule. Additionally, traveling to site several times to meet with the design team, ownership team, and local AHJ's for successful coordination efforts.
This project is valued at over $50M.
